Found a box labeled “Erin’s Art Gear” in my dad’s garage. I made these Minnesota and Minneapolis stencils and spray paint crafted the shit out of shirts, tote bags and prints when I was in college.

lowfructose: DIY of the Week: T-shirt Scarf I saw this upcycled tshirt scarf pop up on a few blogs over the past few weeks and decided to make one for myself. I glanced at these four tutorials for guidance and will post my own once I get a little better at making these. I made my first tshirt scarf last night :) Who wants one?

Today in Erin’s Craft Corner: Nautical Rope Bracelets Materials: Cotton rope ($7 for 100 yards), tin can Time: Depends on how many glasses of wine you drink Commentary: I followed the Etsy written tutorial and also watched this video a few times. It’s called a Turk’s Head knot. Apparently these bad boys retail for $85 a piece so, uh, if you want one and would rather pay with a beer instead just let me know! I can’t promise it will be perfect, but who wants that anyway?

Today in Erin’s Craft Corner: Chalkboard Coffee Mugs I saw one of these at Starbuck’s last week for $15 and said “Hah! I can totally make that.” so picked up 5 mugs at Goodwill for $6 and a 1/2 gallon of chalkboard paint, which will last forever, for $25. Cheers!

Today in Erin’s Craft Corner: Chalkboard paint to-do list on my shitty Ikea desk I had a bunch of leftover chalkboard paint [see previous crafting] so I turned the corner of my desk into a chalkboard to-do list, which will soon become a doodle list.  Also, I’m on a Breaking Bad bender [seen on monitor]. Embarrassing number of episodes viewed this weekend. Obsessed.
