Hey, so I started a new Tumblr where I am sharing my experiences of being a 20-something sorta tree hugger living in NYC. If you’re interested in local food, amateur cooking, thoughts on recycling, new forms of transportation and generally trying to make our world a better place to live, check it out. If not, let’s just continue to share drunken posts and scary .gifs of our best friends here.
lowfructose:

One of the things I look forward to each weekend is going to the farmers’ market. Brunch with bacon and sleeping in are right up there on the list, too. Things I love about the farmers’ market, in no particular order…
Access to seasonal food without having to ask “is this in season?”
Meeting people in your community
Apple cider donuts
Seeing kids learning about all of the different vegetables
Bright colors
Veggies with dirt on them
Never been to a farmer’s market in NYC? Check out What is Fresh to find a location near you.
